Precautions for transplanting Tiger Pilan Plant Transplantation Methods and Techniques

Precautions for transplanting Tiger Pilan Plant Transplantation Methods and Techniques

Generally, it is time to consider transplanting Sansevieria after two to three years of planting, because the nutrients in the potting soil have been almost consumed and the plant has grown larger. You need to consider whether the size of the flowerpot is appropriate, whether it needs to be divided, and whether the roots need to be pruned to prevent the old roots from affecting the new roots.

It is best to transplant Sansevieria in winter, that is, after December and before February every year. Sansevieria is in its dormant period. Transplanting at this time will cause the least damage to the plant and have the highest success rate.

Tips for transplanting tiger lily

1. Root pruning and drying

After taking out the tiger skin plant, it needs to be properly pruned, the old soil outside needs to be removed, the rotten roots need to be properly pruned, and a little carbendazim solution needs to be applied to the wound for disinfection.

2. Soil

Tiger Piranha likes to grow in breathable and well-drained soil. As long as suitable soil is provided, a suitable growth environment can be created for the roots.

Sansevieria transplanting management

Tiger Piranha needs to be watered right after planting. Watering can allow its roots to closely combine with the new potting soil, which is beneficial for it to absorb nutrients from the soil. Water it thoroughly at one time and place it in a cool and ventilated place for cultivation. It does not need to be watered again within two months. Let the potting soil gradually dry, and then water it normally.
