Golden Jade Dew Succulent Cultivation

1. Lighting

Golden Jade Succulent is suitable for growing in a semi-shady environment. When supplementing light, it only needs to be exposed to diffuse light, which can make the leaves brighter. In summer, it is necessary to prevent direct sunlight to avoid burns that affect its appearance.

2. Temperature

The most suitable temperature environment for growing Golden Jade succulent is between 15-25 degrees. Spring and autumn are the peak growth seasons for the plant. When the temperature is high in summer, it should be moved under the shade of trees. In winter, it should be moved indoors and the temperature should be kept above 10 degrees.

3. Watering

The golden jade succulent is relatively drought-resistant and does not require too much water during the growing period. Just water it when the soil is completely dry. Be careful to water along the edge of the pot when watering, avoid watering on the top, and no water should remain in the core of the leaves.

4. Fertilization

During the growth period of Golden Jade Succulent, compound fertilizer or liquid fertilizer needs to be applied to the plant once a month. When the temperature is high or low, the Jade Succulent will enter a dormant period, so stop fertilizing at this time.

Precautions for the maintenance of golden jade dew

Golden Jade has a long and deep root system, so it is recommended to use a Vientiane pot or a purple clay pot with a certain height to plant it, which is conducive to the growth of its root system. As for the planting soil, you can use a mixture of peat soil + particles for planting, which has better drainage. Note that the soil should be exposed to the sun for disinfection before use.
