1. Choose cuttings

In order to promote rooting, you can soak the two centimeters of the base of the branch in a diluted naphthalene acid aqueous solution for disinfection, then remove and dry for later use.

2. Cutting medium

Cuttings of green jade tree also need to prepare suitable cutting substrates, which can be prepared with half vermiculite and half perlite, or mixed with sand and peat . After preparation, it can be disinfected with a 3000-fold potassium permanganate aqueous solution to ensure the hygiene and cleanliness of the cutting substrate.

3. Take cuttings

Insert the jade tree cuttings into the soil, water them appropriately to keep the environment moist, and then cover them with white glass to keep them warm and moist.

Things to note after cuttings of green jade tree

Place the grafted jade tree in a cool and ventilated environment, control the growth temperature at around 15-20 degrees Celsius, spray water appropriately to maintain a certain humidity, and expose it to some scattered light at the right time to promote rooting.
