Don’t use these “3 types” of water to water flowers. If you water one, the whole flower will wither and you will regret it.

Especially the issue of watering, which is really a headache for many friends who grow flowers. Using tap water to water flowers is good, but I also want my plants to grow more vigorously, so I started trying various things that were said to be better for growing flowers on the Internet. I tried rice water, beer, tea, eggs, and a little bit of everything. I found that the plants not only didn't grow better, but instead wilted.

Today Huahua will tell you that these types of water in daily life have no effect on plants.

beer

Many friends often hear people say that watering flowers with beer can make the plants grow better and absorb the organic nutrients in the beer. In fact, this is not the case. The alcohol contained in beer is very bad. Alcohol can have a very bad effect on the roots of plants, such as causing root rot, leading to plant death, etc.

When watering the plants, you should try to avoid directly watering them with beer. It is best to dilute it with clean water before use. This will minimize the damage of alcohol to the plants.

Rice vinegar

Whether it is rice vinegar, aged vinegar or white vinegar, many people believe that vinegar is made from fermented grains and will play a corresponding role in the growth of plants. However, what everyone does not notice is that rice vinegar also contains a lot of salt, and too much salt is not a good thing for plants.

Too much salt in the soil will prevent the roots of plants from absorbing nutrients. If there is not enough nutrients, they will slowly wither. Therefore, Huahua does not recommend using vinegar liquids to water plants.

Rice washing water

The last thing I want to talk about is rice water. I believe that whether you are in the flower-growing circle or not, when you mention rice water, you will subconsciously think that it can be used to water flowers and it is very effective for flowers.

Huahua is going to debunk this rumor today. Rice water can certainly be used to water flowers, but it must be fermented beforehand. If the rice water is not fermented, plants cannot absorb its nutrients and may even become uncomfortable to the plants.

These three types of water are the ones we often use to water flowers. Are you also using these waters to water flowers? Open your eyes quickly and don’t be fooled by rumors!

<<:  "It" is everywhere, and many people don't pay attention to it, but flower-growing experts use it to grow flowers, and they still grow well without fertilizing!

>>:  Clivia has green leaves but no flowers. Try changing the fertilizer and it will bloom red flowers every year.
