How to grow spiderwort so that it can bloom

How to grow spiderwort so that it can bloom

1. Proper watering

When growing spiderwort, you should water it properly. The soil in the pot should not be too dry or too wet, and there should be no excess water. It is best to keep the soil slightly moist. In midsummer, you need to water more often because the temperature is relatively high and water evaporates quickly. If you don't water enough, drought will occur easily.

2. Suitable temperature

It is suitable for growing in a warm environment. It is best to maintain the breeding temperature at 18-25℃. Only when the temperature is suitable can it easily bloom. It is relatively afraid of cold, so you should pay attention to adjusting the temperature in winter, which should not be lower than 12℃. If the temperature in the breeding environment is lower than 8℃, the plants will be frozen.

3. Supplement nutrients

The plant needs nutrients to maintain its growth. It should be fertilized once every 15 days or so during its growth period. Compound fertilizer can be used. Do not use raw fertilizers, and the amount of fertilizer must be controlled. Excessive fertilization will burn the roots of the plant. If no fertilizer is applied for a long time, it will easily grow poorly.

4. Appropriate light

For daily care, you can place it on the south window and avoid direct sunlight, because it is suitable for growing in a semi-shaded environment. When growing outdoors, provide shade to prevent the plants from being sunburned.
