1. Soil culture cutting method

1. Prepare the soil: Prepare the soil for cuttings in advance, and ensure good air permeability and drainage. If the soil is not air permeable, you can add some perlite and then put it in the pot.

2. Branch selection: From a plant that is in good growth condition, select a strong branch that has not been damaged by pests and diseases. Then use a knife to cut it into small sections. Each section should have at least one bud and a leaf.

3. Cutting: Insert the cut small branches into the soil about 3 cm and fix them with soil. Water it appropriately, find a film, poke a few holes in it and cover it, keep it slightly moist, and wait for it to take root.

2. Hydroponic cutting method

1. Container: For hydroponics, both the hydroponic container and water quality are very important. You can choose a glass container because it is transparent and you can see the rooting of the branches. After cleaning, add water. You can use mineral water or tap water that has been dried in the sun.

2. Cuttings: The length of branches for water cuttings is slightly longer, preferably 15-20cm and with aerial roots. Cut off the bottom leaves and soak them in rooting water.

3. Water insertion: Place the cuttings into a hydroponic container, but do not let the leaves be immersed in water. Place them in a cool place, change the water every 2-3 days, and they will take root in about a week.
