Cultivation methods and precautions of pine red plum

Cultivation methods and precautions of pine red plum

1. Soil

When breeding, you should use soil rich in humus, with good drainage and slightly acidic. You can mix leaf mold, garden soil and sand to make the cultivation soil.

2. Watering

When managing it, do not water too much. A slightly moist potting soil environment will be enough. There must not be stagnant water, otherwise its roots will easily rot. Especially in winter, you need to control water because the growth rate is slow and very little water is needed. Don't water if the soil is not dry.

3. Temperature

It has low resistance to high temperatures and low cold, and is suitable for growing in an environment of around 25 degrees. It needs to be cooled in summer, and the temperature should be maintained above 8 degrees in winter to avoid frostbite.

4. Lighting

It likes light. If weather conditions permit, let it get more sun, so as to provide nutrients for growth. If it is placed in a cool place for a long time, it will grow slowly and affect its appearance.

5. Fertilization

When the plant is potted, it is necessary to add basal fertilizer to supplement nutrients. Fertilizer should also be applied during the peak growth period. Liquid fertilizer can be used, about once a month.

6. Notes

In addition to methods, attention should also be paid to pruning during maintenance. It is usually done in spring to cut off the yellow and dry branches and leaves, or to trim off extra branches according to your own preferences.
