What to do if the leaves of Daphne koreana turn yellow

What to do if the leaves of Daphne koreana turn yellow

1. Ensure that the soil is acidic

It likes to grow in loose, nutrient-rich soil. If it is planted in alkaline soil, its leaves will slowly turn yellow. When this happens, the plants should be moved into slightly acidic soil in time, or FeSO4 solution should be sprayed into the soil regularly.

2. Water properly

It likes cool places and hates too much water, so the amount of water should be controlled. If the soil is not dry, there is no need to water it. If the soil is dry, it must be watered thoroughly. You cannot water it but not water it thoroughly, so that the soil above is wet, but the soil below is dry. If there is too much water, the roots may rot because the soil is too wet. When this happens, the plant should be taken out of the pot in time, the roots should be cleaned, then replanted in the soil and placed in a cool and windy location.

3. Add fertilizer frequently and in small amounts

It likes fertilizer, the best is decomposed organic fertilizer, but the amount of fertilizer used each time should not be too much.

4. Sufficient astigmatism

It is afraid of the high temperature and scorching sunlight in summer. It should be placed on a ventilated and shaded flower stand in summer, or in a place not exposed to direct sunlight. It can see full light after late September.

5. Maintain temperature

It has a poor ability to resist cold and should be moved indoors before the frost falls, and the temperature should be kept above 5°C to ensure its normal growth.
