How to grow roses in small pots

How to grow roses in small pots

1. Lighting

If you want the small potted rose to grow better, you need to expose it to more light and place it in a place where it can get enough sunlight. In spring, autumn and winter, the plants should receive sunlight all day long. In summer, they need shade and should not be exposed to the midday sun.

2. Watering

During its growth period, the water consumed by growth needs to be replenished in time. If there is a lack of water, the plant will wither. When the weather is hot, you need to water the plant appropriately to ensure that there is enough moisture in the soil. However, watering needs to be controlled on rainy days.

3. Fertilization

It likes fertilizer, especially potted plants, which should be fertilized in time. During its growing period, fertilizer should be applied every 10 days, and a slightly concentrated fertilizer can be applied before germination. No fertilizer is required during the flowering period of the plant. If you don't fertilize for a long time, the flowers will be very small.

4. Prevention and control of diseases and pests

We should do a good job in preventing diseases and pests, avoid the breeding environment being too hot and humid, and spray some fungicides appropriately. Once you find that the plants are suffering from diseases and insect pests, you should buy medicine for prevention and control as soon as possible.
