How to grow miniature coconut palms

1. Light supplement

It likes a semi-shady environment and needs a certain amount of light. Under strong sunlight, the color of the leaves will turn into dry yellow, indicating that they are burned. But without any light, it won't work, and the plant will become thinner and taller. Therefore, it is important to choose a suitable location, preferably in a bright place indoors.

2. Water supplement

Adequate water can make the plant grow luxuriantly, but it also requires a certain high humidity environment. Especially during the growing period, appropriate amount of water should be applied to ensure growth, and water mist should be sprayed to increase humidity.

3. Apply fertilizer

The fertilizer requirements are not high, so the amount used needs to be controlled. Apply liquid fertilizer 1-2 times a month during the growing season to ensure good growth. Start to gradually reduce or stop applying fertilizer in late autumn. Too much nutrients will be difficult to absorb and will cause root accumulation and burning.

4. Temperature control

18-24 degrees Celsius is the best growth period. It is most beneficial within this range. If it exceeds a certain level, it will have an impact. The wintering temperature cannot be lower than 10 degrees Celsius.
