How to grow a money tree

How to grow a money tree

1. Planting Ground

Before planting, you need to prepare the soil first. Try to choose loose and breathable soil. In addition, the soil must have a certain degree of fertility and good drainage performance. There must be no pathogens and pests in the soil, and it must be disinfected before use, otherwise it will easily be infected after planting.

2. Seed Collection

Wait until its fruits turn reddish brown before harvesting. Do not pick them too early as this will affect the development rate. After picking the fruit, remove the stalks and peel, dry them in the sun, and then knock out the seeds. Its seeds are black and spherical. Select the plump seeds for planting.

3. Seeding

Before sowing, the seeds must be disinfected first, then soaked in warm water and mixed with a small amount of wet sand for germination, because the seed coat is very hard and it will be difficult to germinate if it is not treated.

4. Planting

Sow the processed money tree seeds into the soil and cover the seeds with soil, but not too thick, 1-2cm is enough. After covering the soil, you need to water it once and finally cover it with straw or stalks, which can keep it warm and maintain humidity. It will germinate in about 20-30 days.
