1. The requirements for loam are not too high. As long as the soil layer is deep and the salinity is low, it will be helpful for the survival of seedlings and the growth of crops.

2. Planting time

1. Spring: Spring is a good time for sowing. The best time for sowing is from late February to early March in the south and from April to May in the north. The growing season in spring is shorter and the harvest time is earlier.

2. Autumn: Autumn sowing is also a good choice. Early-maturing varieties are more suitable. They can be sown around early September and harvested before the cold wave arrives. If you want to extend the growing period, you can cover it with plastic film.

3. Overwintering: Generally, it is sown in late October to mid-November. After overwintering, it can be harvested in April or May of the following year.
