How to care for green radish potted plants

1. Potting soil

When caring for potted plants, it is best to choose pots with good air permeability, which is beneficial for later growth. The soil can be prepared by mixing river sand, garden soil and leaf mold, and an appropriate amount of manure can be added to supplement nutrients.

2. Watering

Chlorophytum likes moisture, so it should be watered frequently during maintenance to keep it moist. If the soil in the pot is too dry, the leaves will easily turn yellow. However, do not water too much and do not allow water to accumulate, otherwise it will hinder root breathing and easily cause rot.

3. Fertilization

It grows quickly and consumes a lot of maintenance. Therefore, fertilization should be done frequently during the growth period. It is best to use compound fertilizer, and nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be mixed together and not used alone. In addition, pay attention to controlling fertilizer in winter and sprinkle diluted fertilizer on the leaves once a month.

4. Lighting

Pay attention to providing light during maintenance, as the requirements in this regard are strict. It cannot be placed in a dark place nor exposed to strong light. It is best to place it in a semi-shaded or diffuse light environment. The leaves will be greener and grow more vigorously if the light is mild and appropriate. Especially in summer, strong light can burn the leaves and cause them to turn yellow, so be sure to avoid it or take shading measures.
