How to raise Milan

How to raise Milan

1. Maintenance conditions

1. Soil: It has relatively high requirements for potting soil. It is advisable to use fertile and well-breathed soil. You can use some soil containing rotten leaves to grow it, so that it can grow better.

2. Water: Under normal circumstances, the potting soil should be kept relatively moist, which is more conducive to its growth. Normally, you only need to water it once a week. There should not be any accumulation of water, which will affect its normal growth. In summer, you can water it once a day, and in winter you can reduce watering or even stop watering.

3. Fertilization: It needs nutrients to maintain its vigorous growth. You can add fertilizer to it every half a month. The fertilizer should be diluted with water before use to avoid it being burned. In addition, you can add fertilizer once in spring, once every 10 days.

4. Light: It is shade-tolerant and can grow normally in a moderately dark environment, but it also prefers to grow in an environment with better sunlight. You can place it in a place with good air circulation, and you can grow it well on the balcony. In summer, be sure to shade it to prevent sunburn.

2. Precautions

The temperature is relatively low in winter, so it can be grown indoors. The suitable temperature is an environment of 20 to 30 degrees. The temperature in winter should be higher than 5 degrees and not too low. The temperature in summer should not exceed 38 degrees. Usually you can change the potting soil once every two years to help the plant's roots absorb nutrients.
