What to do with daisies after they bloom

What to do with daisies after they bloom

1. Block light

Because daisies bloom in late spring, usually after they finish blooming, not only will the temperature rise, but the light will also be stronger than before. Therefore, after flowering, you must do a good job of shading. Do not place the plant under the sun for maintenance, as this may easily burn the plant. Finally, place it in a location with good scattered light.

2. Rehydrate in time

After the flowering period, the climate will become very dry. It is necessary to replenish water in time according to the dryness of the soil, and avoid too much water shortage. If you find that the soil for breeding has become dry, you should water it in time. The soil should be kept slightly moist, but there must not be any accumulation of water.

3. Proper pruning

Proper pruning is also required after flowering. The plant will have many dead branches after flowering, which should be pruned as soon as possible. In addition, the withered flowers and branches of daisies that are not growing well should also be pruned off, otherwise it will increase nutrient consumption. Some plants grow too densely and can be transplanted and propagated after being cut off.

4. Remove diseased plants

If the plant is attacked by pests and diseases, it will produce fewer flowers during the flowering period, the flowering period will be very short, and it will also affect the growth of the plant. When diseased plants are found, they must be cut off in time and the corresponding medicines must be purchased for treatment. Once infected, the entire plant will grow poorly.
