How to take care of the newly bought cyclamen

1. Don’t change the pot

Don’t rush to repot the cyclamen you just bought. Repotting it before it has adapted to the new environment will affect its normal recovery and growth. Especially when cyclamen is in bloom, you should never change the pot. If you think the original pot is ugly, you can put another pot outside it.

2. Appropriate exposure to light

After buying it home, you need to place it in a diffused light place in the home, such as a balcony, windowsill, etc. When keeping it indoors, you should also pay more attention to ventilation. Do not expose it to direct sunlight immediately, because its roots currently have low absorption capacity and the leaves may easily wilt due to lack of water.

3. Sufficient water

It does not have strict requirements for water. If the soil in the pot is light when you first buy it, you will need to add some water in time. If it lacks too much water, the plant will become lifeless. It should be watered thoroughly after it is completely dry, and do not spill water on the leaves when watering.

4. Temperature control

The best environment temperature for breeding is around 20℃. If it is in winter, the minimum temperature should not be lower than 10℃. If the temperature is too low, the plants will not only be unable to adapt to the new environment, but may also be frostbitten.
