How to deal with a succulent head explosion

How to deal with a succulent head explosion

1. Repotting

Generally speaking, the original pot of succulent plants will become very small after they have grown. If you want them to grow better, you need to replace the original pot with a larger one. This not only ensures that there are enough nutrients in the soil, but also increases the plant's growth space. As it continues to grow, it will become a multi-headed old stump, which is also very ornamental.

2. Pruning

Sometimes, even though the purpose of head explosion is achieved, the growth condition of the small head is not good. At this time, you can use tools to remove the bad small head. Usually, the heads grow very closely, so be careful when pruning, do not touch the plants with good growth, and slowly cut off the weak heads.

3. Division

If there are too many succulent plants with dead heads, they can be divided. That is to say, you need to dig the plant out of the pot, clean the old soil at the roots, separate it from the gaps at the roots with scissors, then dry the small plant, prepare a new potting soil and replant it.
