How to grow kiwi fruit

How to grow kiwi fruit

1. Planting time

The planting time for kiwifruit can be selected from March to April every year. The spring climate is suitable, which has a positive impact on planting and growth. However, due to regional differences, there will be differences in planting time. As long as the temperature can reach 12 degrees Celsius, it can be planted. In the central and southern regions, the planting time can be around March because of the rapid spring return. In the northern region, due to the colder climate, the planting time can be postponed to around April.

2. Prepare the soil

When you first start planting, the flowerpot does not need to be too big, as long as it matches the size of the plant. The height should be about 25-40 cm. You can choose a flowerpot with good air permeability. The loam should be permeable, well-drained and nutritious. You can prepare it yourself or purchase it specifically.

3. Remove the seeds

Eat the kiwi fruit pulp, then take out the seeds inside, remove the remaining pulp, and rinse it in clean water. The seeds cannot be sown directly, they need to be germinated. Soak the seeds in warm water, take them out after a whole day, then cover them with a wet cloth and place them in a warm environment. After small sprouts appear, they can be planted.

4. Planting

Fill the flowerpot with loam, place the seeds in it, water it thoroughly, and place it in a cool and ventilated place.
