How to water the fortune tree?

1. Watering time

Watering is an important part of caring for the money tree. Because the amount of water can directly determine the growth status of the plant. If there is too much water in the soil, it will cause the roots of the plant to rot. If it is too little, the plant will suffer from water shortage. Both of these situations will cause the plant to grow poorly. If you can water the plant only when the soil is dry, and keep the soil slightly moist, you can keep the plant growing well.

Specifically, the frequency of watering needs to be determined according to the season. In spring and autumn, the plant grows very fast and needs to be watered every 5-7 days. If the soil surface shows signs of drying out, water more frequently. In summer, water evaporates very quickly, so the frequency of watering needs to be increased to once every 2-3 days. In winter, the plant's water requirement decreases. In order to avoid root rot, you need to reduce watering and change it to once every 10 days or so.

2. Watering method

To water it, you need to use clean water without impurities. If you use tap water, it is best to take it out one day in advance and set it aside to let the chlorine evaporate. When watering, pour the water around the edge of the flowerpot, and do not pour the water directly on its roots. Stop watering when the soil is moist and water flows out from the bottom of the pot. This will allow the soil to be completely irrigated, which is beneficial to the growth of the plants.
