How to grow a lucky tree so that it will flourish

1. Suitable soil

The lucky tree prefers loose, fertile, well-drained and humus-rich soil. You can mix garden soil, leaf mold and an appropriate amount of perlite, and add an appropriate amount of organic fertilizer to increase the air permeability and nutrition of the soil.

2. Control Moisture

The lucky tree likes a relatively humid environment and has a high demand for water. However, its water requirements are different at different stages of its growth. When it sprouts new buds in spring, you should control the moisture and water it less to prevent the branches from growing too long. When the temperature is high in summer, the water in the plants evaporates quickly, so they need to be watered frequently during this period, at least twice a day. During winter, the plant enters a dormant period and its need for water decreases. At this time, you can control the watering and water it once a day when it is relatively dry. If it is not dry, you can water it every two or three days, and make sure to use warm water.

3. Suitable temperature

The lucky tree grows best in temperatures between twenty and thirty degrees Celsius. When the temperature exceeds 30 degrees in summer, spray the leaves to cool it down, and move it to a well-ventilated place indoors. When the temperature drops below ten degrees in winter, it needs to be moved to a warm indoor environment, and the indoor temperature cannot be lower than eight degrees.

4. Suitable lighting

The lucky tree is relatively shade-tolerant, but it also likes light and can be maintained in an environment with more scattered light. During its seedling stage, it needs to be kept in a cool place. After the plant grows, it should be kept indoors in a place with sufficient light.

5. Proper fertilization

When the temperature rises in April every month to help it recover, you can add an appropriate amount of compound fertilizer to the soil. When it enters the growing season, apply decomposed liquid fertilizer once a month. Apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizers once after the Mid-Autumn Festival every year to enhance the plant's cold resistance. In addition, when the temperatures are low in winter, the plants do not require much fertilizer, so you can stop fertilizing.
