1. Time for cuttings

It is very easy to propagate roses by cuttings, and this is also a very common method of propagation. Cuttings can be taken in spring, early summer and autumn, with spring and autumn being the most suitable seasons. Because the climate in summer is very stuffy, the cuttings can easily be damaged if not managed properly.

2. Cutting method

1. Prepare the soil: It is extremely important to prepare the substrate when grafting. It can only take root in suitable soil, which must have a certain water retention capacity and be loose enough. If the soil is too loose, it will affect rooting.

2. Pruning: Cut sufficiently strong branches from the mother plant. You can choose young branches or branches after flowering. Or you can use rooting powder, which can also disinfect and promote rooting.

4. Cutting: The last step is to carefully insert the branches into the substrate, then water it thoroughly and place it in a shady location for maintenance. Avoid exposure to sunlight at noon, but get appropriate exposure to sunlight in the morning or afternoon.
