Is it time to water Clivia in the morning, afternoon or noon?

1. Watering time

When watering Clivia, the watering time varies in different seasons. Generally, the temperatures in spring and autumn are relatively mild, and watering can be done after 10 am and before 5 pm. After entering summer, the daytime temperature will become very high, so try to water at a time that is not too hot, such as before the sun comes out in the morning, or after the sun sets. Also, in winter, the temperature is highest at noon, so in order to reduce the impact on the plants, it should be done between 12 noon and 3 o'clock.

2. Watering knowledge

1. Amount of water: The reasonable watering method is not to water unless the soil is dry. If you do water, you should water it thoroughly. This will allow its roots to have better contact with water. If you only water a small amount each time, the roots growing at the bottom of the pot will not be able to absorb water and will remain dry for a long time. In addition, the soil will easily clump, which is not conducive to its growth.

2. Water temperature: Whether it is summer or winter, the temperature of the water used should be close to the room temperature and should not be too different. Even in the cold winter, you cannot use hot water. You can place the water indoors and wait for the water temperature to not be too cold.

3. Water quality: Generally, tap water is used when replenishing water. If this kind of water is used, it needs to be treated before use and cannot be used directly. Just put the water in the bottle and wait for about 2 days.
