1. Carrots

Planting time : The sowing time for spring carrots is generally from mid-March to the end of April.

Planting method : Before sowing, the land should be plowed about 30cm deep, and the fertilizer should be mixed and then the land should be harrowed. If the soil drainage is poor, carrots should be planted in ridges. For normal land, it is most suitable to use the method of high ridges and deep furrows.

2. Lettuce

Planting time: Spring usually starts from February to April.

Planting method: Lettuce seeds are small and not easy to spread evenly. You can mix the seeds with fine soil and then spread them on the seedbed. After the seeds are evenly spread, spread a layer of sieved fine soil with a thickness of 0.5-1 cm.

3. Cabbage

Planting time: The suitable sowing period for spring cabbage is generally from late March to early April.

Planting method: Spring cabbage has a short growing period, shallow root system, and requires a lot of fertilizer. It requires deep and fertile sandy loam for planting, and it is best to rotate with Solanaceae and cruciferous crops. 4. Cucumber

5. Cowpea

Planting time: Spring cowpea is generally sown from late February to late March.

Planting method: In late March, bury the healed cuttings directly in the field, and set up a small micro plastic film arch shed with a height of 20 cm and a bottom width of 30 cm on the planting row. Seedlings will emerge in late May to early June.

7. Leek

Planting time: Chives can generally be sown from early March to mid-May.

Planting method: Soak the seeds before sowing. Soak the seeds in clean water for 8-12 hours, remove the floating seeds, and then sow them. After sowing, cover the soil (or substrate) with about 1 cm. In low temperature seasons, cover with white plastic film , and in high temperature seasons, cover with black plastic film to keep moisture.
