What to do if the leaves of Ranunculus turn yellow

What to do if the leaves of Ranunculus turn yellow

1. Water yellow

To put it bluntly, this is because we water the plant too much, causing water to accumulate in the soil for a long time, resulting in poor air permeability and root rot. The general manifestation is that the young leaves become dull and lifeless, and the new shoots slowly wither.

Solution: Generally, we need to control the amount of water at this time, move it to a cool place, or take it out of the pot and dry it before putting it back in.

2. Fat and yellow

If we apply too much fertilizer to it, its old leaves will slowly wither and turn yellow, and the new leaves will be thick but will not stretch out.

Solution: If this is the case, we can sprinkle Chinese cabbage or radish seeds on it, and when it sprouts, we can consume its nutrients. Or we can directly flush the fertilizer away with water. In fact, we can also control the fertilizer we apply to it. Generally, using dolomite will be a good idea.

3. Dry yellow

This is mainly because it is rarely watered, or it is severely dehydrated. Generally, the color of the new leaves is normal, but the leaves from the bottom to the top will gradually turn yellow and fall off.

Solution: This requires us to directly water it into the plant to solve the problem. Of course, we still have to control the amount, not too much, otherwise it will cause other problems.

4. Alkali yellow

Because it prefers acidic soil, but because the water in the north is alkaline, the leaves may turn yellow.

Solution: At this time we need to change the water we give it. Generally, we can use fermented rice washing water or rainwater. Of course, we can also add some vinegar to the water, so that it can grow better, and the leaves will naturally not become like this.
