What to do if the pitcher plant roots rot and the pitcher plant withers?

1. Treatment methods after root rot

When you find that the roots of the cultured pitcher plants are rotten, it is best to spray some fungicides and then turn the planting soil over to allow the moisture in the soil to be lost faster. At the same time, you should reduce the amount of watering. After caring for it for a period of time, if its growth condition is still not good, you need to remove the plant from the pot and check for root rot. If it is only slightly rotten, you can simply trim the roots, disinfect it and replant it. If the root rot is serious, you need to re-graft.

2. What to do if the bottle withers

1. Increase humidity: Usually during breeding, the humidity should be high enough. If the air humidity is too low, you should ensure sufficient water and spray water as much as possible to increase the humidity of the breeding environment. It is best to cover the flower pot with plastic wrap or a plastic bag to prevent moisture evaporation.

2. Adjust the temperature: If the temperature of the breeding environment is too low, the cage of the pitcher plant will wither. The most important thing is that in winter, the temperature should be adjusted to above 15℃. When the temperature is too low, you can move it to a warmer place.
