Common problems in the cultivation of air plants

The leaves of air plants turn yellow and dry

When growing air plants, the leaves may turn yellow or even dry up. This may be caused by too much light or too low air humidity, which will cause some leaves to turn yellow. When exposed to strong light, the leaves will curl.

When growing air plants, they should be placed in a ventilated semi-shaded place for maintenance, and exposed to scattered light, but be careful not to place them in a too hidden place for a long time.

The second thing is to keep the soil moist. You can spray some water on the leaves frequently.

Air Plant Tips

When growing air plants, sometimes the tips may burn due to lack of water or high temperatures.

When this problem occurs, you can spray some water every day to remove pests and diseases, and then lower the temperature of the growth environment, and the burnt tip phenomenon will improve. Leaves that are damaged can be pruned off.

Air plant rupture

A leaf breakage occurs when the air plant is bent sharply, causing the heavily cut parts of the leaves to change color or even burn, and the veins of the leaves to be broken. This will affect the appearance of the air plant, so you can cut it off.

Air plant rotten heart

When the roots of air plants turn black or even emit an unusual odor, it is mainly caused by too much water, and the inside of the plant begins to rot. Be sure to pay attention to moisture and don't make it too wet.
