What to do if the leaves of Campanula serrata wilt

What to do if the leaves of Campanula serrata wilt

1. Caused by moisture

Too much water: When we water it, we sometimes forget to water it in moderation, and often we water it too much without being careful. As a result, it is easy for it to not be able to drain the water in time, causing water accumulation. Over time, the respiration of the roots will deteriorate, directly leading to root rot, and nutrients can no longer be transmitted, causing the leaves to wilt. Therefore, we need to drain the accumulated water in time, or replace the soil directly, cut off the rotten roots in time, and water it appropriately on a regular basis to make its leaves shiny again.

Too little water: Some people may say, I am afraid of water accumulation, so I will water less. However, this less water should be based on the premise that the plant has enough water. If you don’t even meet its basic water needs, how can it be energetic? Therefore, when you find that the soil in the pot is very dry, you must water it enough.

2. Caused by fertilizer

Sometimes, we want it to grow faster, so we can't wait to apply nutrients continuously, which ends up with too much fertilizer and burns the roots. It is also easy for the leaves of the plant to wilt and lose their luster. At this time, we must control the amount of fertilizer. We can use some methods to disperse the fertilizer in the potting soil and consume some of the nutrients. This way, the fertilizer will no longer be so abundant and it will be easier to absorb. It can make its leaves shiny again.

3. Insufficient lighting

Although it is shade-tolerant, it cannot be kept in a dark place for a long time, otherwise it will not be able to enjoy the sunlight. No matter what kind of plant it is, it cannot survive without sunlight, let alone a sun-loving plant. It needs more sunlight, otherwise its leaves will wilt. At this time, you need to quickly put it in a place with enough sunlight to make up for the lack of light so that it can regain its green color.
