What to do if the leaves of the rubber tree droop

What to do if the leaves of the rubber tree droop

1. Fertilizer

We should understand that this problem is largely due to improper fertilizer regulation. Because if the concentration of fertilizer is too high, it is likely to destroy its roots, causing it to be unable to absorb nutrients normally, resulting in drooping leaves.

Solution: At this time, we need to dilute the fertilizer. If the fertilizer used is excessive or raw, we can only change the pot. Of course, fertilization is still necessary, but with the arrival of autumn we need to slowly reduce the amount of fertilizer.

2. Watering

Because its leaves are large, it loses water quickly and we need to water it frequently. However, if you forget to water it or don’t provide enough water, it can also cause drooping leaves.

Solution: There are two methods. The first is to sprinkle water on the leaves frequently. The second is to replace water with beer so that the leaves will not droop. However, it is inevitable to water the soil at ordinary times, especially when the temperature is not low. It has a great demand for water, so the soil should be kept moist. It is important not to water too much in the fall, so as to prepare for the coming of winter.

3. Lighting

The impact of no light is also great, especially if we place it in a house with air conditioning. Due to the influence of the dry environment, the leaves can easily droop.

Solution: We should provide it with light in time and place it in a sunny place when the temperature is not low, so that its resistance will be improved.

4. Notes

In winter and early spring, we keep it in the room. At this time, we must control the wind and not let it be blown by the cold wind, otherwise the leaves will suffer. We will take it out when the temperature is not so low.
