Tips on how to grow green radish hydroponically to make it more vigorous

Green ivy is a common foliage plant. It grows fast, has green leaves, is easy to maintain, and can purify the air. It is the green plant of choice for people to decorate their homes. But compared to soil-grown green radish, water-grown green radish is more beautiful. So how can you grow water-grown green radish more vigorously? Any tips? Let’s learn more about it below.

1. Cutting selection

First of all, when choosing cuttings for hydroponic green radish, you should choose cuttings with aerial roots and are relatively sturdy. Such cuttings have a higher survival rate and will grow more vigorously in the later stage.

2. Lighting management

Pothos prefers scattered light and should not be exposed directly to sunlight. When caring for it indoors, choose a place with sufficient light but no direct sunlight. If there is insufficient indoor lighting, consider using artificial light to supplement the lighting.

3. Change water regularly

During its growth period, the green radish has extremely strict requirements on water quality. If the water is not changed for a long time, the nutrients in the water will gradually decrease, and even a large amount of green algae will grow, affecting the normal growth of the plant. Therefore, during daily maintenance, you need to change the water every 2-3 days and spray water on the leaves frequently to keep them moist.

4. Temperature control

When growing green radish in water, the temperature must be controlled between 10-20℃, and the temperature difference between day and night should not be too large, otherwise the leaves of the green radish will easily turn yellow, let alone grow lushly. The temperature is high in summer, so we need to place the green radish in a ventilated and cool place indoors and keep it away from direct sunlight. Pay attention to heat preservation in winter and ensure that the indoor temperature is not lower than 10℃

5. Supplement nutrients

You can regularly drop one or two drops of nutrient solution into the green radish, which will be more conducive to its growth. You can also put a quarter of aspirin in the hydroponic bottle. Aspirin can not only promote the rooting of the green radish, but also prevent the leaves of the green radish from turning yellow, and has a good cleaning effect.

6. Pruning and maintenance

Regularly trimming dead leaves and overgrown branches of your pothos will help maintain the plant's beauty and health. At the same time, pay attention to check the root system, clean up rotten roots in time, and keep the root system clean and healthy.

In general, if you want to make your hydroponic green radish grow more vigorously, the above tips are very effective. It is not difficult to maintain the hydroponic green radish. If you pay attention to the good methods, the green radish will grow quickly.
