Why are the leaves of Tangyin soft?

1. Frostbite

Reason: It may be due to temperature reasons, it cannot withstand the cold. The temperature in winter is relatively low. If the temperature is lower than 3 to 5 degrees Celsius, the leaves will be frozen and cause them to become soft. In severe cases, the leaves will slowly fall off.

Measures: Pay attention to temperature changes starting from late autumn, move it indoors in time to prevent cold winds and maintain normal temperature.

2. Root rot

Reason: This reason is particularly obvious in summer. The temperature is high in summer. If watering and fertilization are not applied properly, it will cause root rot and empty roots. When the roots are damaged, the absorption function is affected, which directly leads to poor leaf growth and falling.

Measures: The rotten roots need to be cut off and the application of water and nutrients needs to be adjusted.

3. Leaf damage

Reason: If you are not careful during maintenance, the leaves will be damaged, bacteria will invade the wounds, causing the leaves to become soft and rot.

Measures: The rotten parts need to be cut off and not left on to prevent them from spreading to other healthy leaves. Treat the wound, apply disinfectant and avoid getting it exposed to moisture.
