Chestnut potted plants1. First, pick out a few large, smooth-shelled, and insect-free raw chestnuts. Take a clean bowl, fill it with water, and immerse the pointed part of the chestnuts in it. Place it in a cool and ventilated place and change the water every day. 2. In about a week, chestnuts will grow tender white roots, but don't mistake them for buds. 3. Find a sandbox, fill it with clean sand, and place the chestnuts with their roots facing downwards. You don't have to bury the entire chestnut in the sand, just leave it outside the sand and the roots will grow in by themselves. 4. Add water to the sand every day. Do not let the sand dry out. Keep it moist so that it can grow fast. In about 3 weeks, chestnut seedlings will grow. 5. Water it every day and move it to a place with scattered light. The seedlings grew very quickly, and in less than a month, they had grown into green chestnut potted plants! Pine nut potted plantThere are two ways to grow pine nut potted plants. First, I will introduce the first method - directly using raw pine nuts as potted plants. 1. First, choose healthy, plump, and insect-free raw pine nuts. It is best to choose mature pine nuts picked up from the ground, as these have a higher germination rate. Soak them in clean water for 10 hours. 2. Prepare sand that has been exposed to the sun for 2 days. After watering it thoroughly, sprinkle pine nuts on the surface of the pot and cover it with a thin layer of sand. Remember to water it every day to keep the soil moist, and the seeds will soon sprout. 3. The outline of the pine tree gradually emerges. 4. Don’t worry about the pine tree growing too big. In fact, it grows very slowly and it takes about 3 years to grow to the size shown in the picture below. The second method is to use pine cones as potted plants. 1. Choose healthy and large pine cones. Make sure to choose the ones with pine nuts inside, as shown in the picture, because some varieties of pine cones do not have pine nuts at all. It is best to break one open and take a look. Insert the pine cones obliquely into loose and breathable soil. 2. Water frequently to keep it moist. After a period of time, small buds will appear on the pine nuts. 3. Water the soil next to the pine cones, not directly on the pine cones, otherwise they will rot. Soon, cute little pine trees grew on the pine cones. 4. If you want, you can also keep the pine cone upright, without soil, spray water every day to keep it moist, and let it germinate standing. |
