Water and drought bonsai production: material selection

You can buy ready-made turtle-patterned stone directly from the flower market, or find some beautiful ones in the mountains, then clean and disinfect them before use.

White marble basin: a white flower pot, bought from the second-hand market.

Marble glue, a bonsai, some landscape accessories, and use a brush to clean the stone.

Water and drought bonsai production: positioning

Before planting the plants, lay the stones out. First, prepare two plastic bags of soil to simulate the plant and serve as the fixed point for the entire bonsai.

Then place the prepared turtle-patterned stones around in layers according to your own aesthetic perspective.

Water and drought bonsai production: fixed

Arrange the turtle-patterned stones in a circle as much as possible, then remove the two bags of soil in the middle to ensure that the original shape remains unchanged.

Use marble glue to fix stones to each other and stones to flower pots.

Then apply white cement to the gaps inside the stone, preferably on both sides, so that there will be no leakage when watering. Then leave a small hole somewhere to allow water to penetrate.

Water and drought bonsai production: scenery

After the cement has dried, plant the prepared plants with some soil around their roots. Or you can roll the soil around the roots into a ball and plant it in before planting.

OK, adjust the position of the plants, the overall look is still good, cheap and affordable.
