How to grow Metasequoia bonsai

Metasequoia prefers warm and humid climatic conditions, and mostly grows in places with flat terrain, deep soil, moisture or slight water accumulation. Metasequoia loves light. Under sufficient light conditions, its leaves will be dark green and lush, which will make it look vibrant. Therefore, it can be placed outdoors to receive sufficient light, and in winter, the bonsai can be moved indoors to a windowsill with scattered light.

Fertilization

Metasequoia bonsai needs to be moderately dwarfed, so base fertilizer can be applied before planting, and fertilizer can be applied again when the plant starts to grow. Do not fertilize too early, because premature fertilization will cause "indigestion" of the Metasequoia tree stump.
