Can I put Aspidistra in the bedroom?

Can I put Aspidistra in the bedroom?

1. Purify the air

We all know that it can make the air clean and give us a fresh feeling, but it is not appropriate to put it in the bedroom, but it is feasible to put it indoors. Because at night it doesn't have much effect.

However, we can take a more moderate approach, which is to place it in the bedroom during the day, and place it in other places suitable for its growth at night.

2. Photosynthesis

We know that it needs photosynthesis. There may be light in the bedroom during the day, but the light may not be sufficient. It will be dark at night, so placing it in the bedroom is not conducive to its growth, because its photosynthesis will be affected, and its health and ornamental effect will not be very good.

If we put it on the windowsill or balcony, it will grow better because the environment it is in is what it likes.

3. Ventilation

One thing we also need to know is that it needs wind. If the air in the environment it is in is not circulating, it will affect its growth, so we'd better place it on a south-facing balcony, because we are in the northern hemisphere, the light in the south will be better and the ventilation will be good. In fact, placing it on the balcony can also absorb formaldehyde, so you can consider this location.

In addition, we must also pay attention to not placing it in the same line as the kitchen, otherwise it will cause it to wither and turn yellow. All in all, placing it in the bedroom is not a very safe method. It is better to determine its location according to the environment it adapts to. If you are not particularly eager to place it in the bedroom, you should choose another place for it.
