How can a ewe produce milk quickly if she has no milk?

If a ewe does not have enough milk after giving birth to a lamb, it will be very detrimental to the lamb's growth. So how can a ewe produce milk quickly if she has no milk? Let’s learn the method below.

1. Peanuts promote lactation

Take 200 grams of peanuts and 4 eggs, crack the eggs open, put the contents into a pot and mix well, add peanuts and water to cook porridge, and feed it to the ewe in 2 portions.

2. Brown sugar promotes lactation

Take 200 grams of brown sugar and 5 eggs, open the eggs, put the contents into a bowl, add sugar and stir well, then add a small amount of concentrate, stir and feed to the ewe. After 5 hours, the milk production will increase.

3. Kelp promotes lactation

Take 25 grams of kelp and 100 grams of lard, put them in a pot to cook soup, and after cooking, let the ewe eat it all at once. Generally, milk production increases significantly 12 hours after feeding, and then the baby should be fed once every 3-4 days for 3-4 times in a row. At the same time, provide enough green and juicy feed . Using this method to stimulate lactation, you can produce more milk and better quality milk.

4. Soy milk promotes lactation

Use 250 grams of soybeans, soak them in water first, then grind them into a pulp and cook them. After they cool down, let the female goat drink them by herself, 3 times a day, for 3-4 days.

5. Honey promotes lactation

Take 250 grams of honey and two egg whites, mix them well and give them to the female goat orally once a day for 2-3 days.

6. Small fish promotes lactation

Use 200 grams of small fish and 100 grams of shrimp. Cook the soup and mix it into the feed. Feed twice a day for 2 to 3 days.

7. Chinese medicine for lactation

Take 6 grams of angelica, 6 grams of Chuanxiong, 6 grams of pollen, 9 grams of Vaccaria , 9 grams of pangolin, 6 grams of white peony, 9 grams of Astragalus, 6 grams of Tongcao, and 4 grams of licorice. Boil them in water and take them when they are warm. Take 1 dose per day for 3 consecutive days.

8. Supplemental nutrition

For postpartum ewes with weak constitution and poor digestion, feeding should be gradual. 4 to 7 days after delivery, feed 100 to 200 grams of bran and 300 grams of silage every day; 7 to 10 days after delivery, feed 200 to 300 grams of mixed concentrate and 500 grams of silage every day. After 15 days, you can gradually return to normal feeding standards. Doing so can make the ewes absorb nutrients more efficiently, obtain the various nutrients needed for lactation, and produce milk faster and more.
