Is the “food” in supermarkets really safe? Don’t buy these “4 types” of food for the sake of your family!

1. Fungus

Fungus is one of the dried foods we eat most often. Usually, we soak it and use it for stir-frying or cold dishes. It is a very good ingredient. But the fungus sold in supermarkets is not the kind we imagine. Mom often tells Huahua that when buying fungus, she must carefully identify it and smell it. If the smell is pungent, don't buy it, because it is very likely soaked in alum, and people may get food poisoning after eating it.

2. Vermicelli and yuba

These two things are often used as auxiliary ingredients for cold and stir-fried dishes in our home. They are usually soaked in hot water before use, which is conducive to our later processing and makes them easier to keep. When buying vermicelli and bean curd sheets, it is best to choose those with outer packaging that can show the manufacturer. Do not buy bulk products in supermarkets. Bulk products have no guarantee. When selecting, try to choose light yellow bean curd sheets. Do not buy those that are too white or too yellow.

3. Sausage

There will always be sausages on the table at home during festivals. Sausages taste particularly good and children especially like to eat them. When buying sausages in the supermarket, Huahua recommends that you go to the freezer to choose sausages that are clearly marked with the merchant's information and buy brands you trust. Don't buy sausages in bulk or by the pound. After all, sausages are made of meat, and unscrupulous merchants may use some low-quality meat.

4. Seafood

When buying seafood in the supermarket, Huahua recommends that you buy seafood that is freshly killed alive in the water. This kind of seafood is safer. Some fish placed on ice are dead, but we don’t know when they died. If you eat fish for too long, it will not be fresh and may cause bloating and other problems.
