1. Planting method1. Planting time: The time for planting Dendrobium officinale is generally in spring and autumn, and mostly in spring. Taking Zhejiang as an example, the best time for planting is from April to June each year. The temperature at this time is between 15-25℃, the air humidity is relatively high, and the survival rate after planting is higher. If it is planted in autumn, it usually takes until mid-September to late October, and it is also necessary to take measures to prevent cold and frost. 2. Substrate preparation: If you want to grow Dendrobium officinale, you must prepare the substrate. Good water retention is essential, as is ventilation. It is usually prepared with sphagnum moss, gravel, peanut shells, moss, coconut peel, pine bark, sawdust, etc. The most commonly used are bark and sawdust, which can be mixed with gravel and organic fertilizer. It should be noted that the bark must be crushed into particles with a length not exceeding 3 cm. 3. Environmental requirements: If planted in a greenhouse, be sure to ensure good ventilation before planting. At the same time, it must provide shade and shelter from rain, and be able to prevent the invasion of pests. The temperature should be controlled between 15-30℃. Hotter places should be covered with 80% shade nets, and attention should also be paid to cooling. If it is colder, you need to reduce the shading and use a double layer of plastic film for insulation. 4. Planting: There are three types of Dendrobium officinale planting, namely tree planting, stone planting and humus soil cultivation. When planting trees, choose tree species with thick bark and high moisture content. Common ones include banyan trees, camphor trees and pear trees. For stone planting, use rough stones with humus and moss on the surface. For replica soil cultivation, you need to prepare a box, pour the substrate in and then plant. 2. How to raise1. Light and temperature: Dendrobium officinale is suitable for growing in an environment of 15-30℃. If the temperature is high, it is necessary to ventilate and cool down in time. If the temperature is low, it is necessary to keep warm. It does not like light, so it should be shaded and avoid being exposed to strong light. 2. Water and humidity: Dendrobium officinale likes moisture, so the amount of water should be controlled when watering to ensure that the moisture content of the substrate does not exceed 70% and cannot be lower than 60%. The air humidity should be maintained at around 90%. It can be reduced appropriately after rooting, but it should also be maintained above 70%. 3. Summer and winter: In the hot summer and cold winter, do not let the substrate be too moist, usually between 30%-50%. In addition, you should take good insulation measures in winter, do anti-freeze exercises in advance, and spray water every two weeks. |
