How to safely spend the summer with succulents

How to care for succulents in summer

With the arrival of summer, everything begins to grow rapidly, and succulents are no exception. As long as they are kept well-watered, succulents can grow well in summer. However, there is heavy rainfall in the summer, so drainage measures must be taken for succulents. The succulent pots should be slightly raised to ensure that water does not accumulate to avoid heart rot.

How to distinguish which succulents can be grown outdoors in summer

If indoor succulents need light, you can move them outdoors and take shading measures to avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight. However, the summer is too hot and the water evaporates quickly. Some succulents with slightly wrinkled leaves and slow growth should not be moved outdoors for exposure to the sun.

Secondly, succulents that hibernate in winter should not be grown outdoors in the summer. Do a good job of shading and choose some effective sunshade nets to greatly reduce ultraviolet radiation and reduce the risk of sunburn. White shade net is best and will not affect the succulents' absorption of sunlight and nutrients.
