Plant habits

Before we understand how to raise it specifically, we first need to know some knowledge about its habits. There are two important points. One is that it does not require too much light and cannot be exposed to very strong light. The second is that it has relatively strict requirements on water, which cannot be too little and naturally cannot be too much.

Specific methods

illumination:

We have said above that there is not much demand for this factor, but it does not mean that there should be no light at all. This is definitely inappropriate. In fact, if it is given the right light, its leaves will turn slightly red, which is very beautiful. Therefore, we should place it in a place where the light is not strong, or take it out to dry in the sun on time every day. Of course, there is a skill in timing. Don't leave it in the sun at noon when the sun is shining brightly, especially in midsummer. Therefore, we usually choose when the sun just rises or sets.

Watering:

Compared with other plants, the roots of this plant are very tenacious, so it generally does not require too much water. If there is excess water for a long time, it is likely to endanger the health of the plants. Therefore, under normal circumstances, we will only water the plant after the soil is completely dry. Don’t rush to water the plant as soon as you see that the surface soil is a little dry. And when watering, try not to let water droplets get on the leaves of the plants, otherwise they may slowly rot.

ventilation:

It is also very important to ventilate the room regularly.

Precautions

If the plant really has root rot due to overwatering, we need to cut off the damaged part first and then carry out special disinfection treatment.
