How to raise succulent cow

How to raise succulent cow

1. Growth habits

Before cultivating, we must first understand its growth habits, which is a very important prerequisite for cultivating any plant. The succulent plant likes a well-ventilated environment with sufficient scattered sunlight, and requires the air to have a certain degree of humidity. It can withstand drought and semi-shaded environments, but cannot withstand severe cold, waterlogging and strong light. The most suitable temperature for its growth is 13 to 21 degrees. Even in winter, the temperature cannot be lower than 10 degrees Celsius. It has some requirements for the soil and prefers loose, fertile and well-drained sandy soil.

2. Breeding methods

1. Light. The succulent plant loves sunlight. Sufficient sunlight can make it grow more vigorously, and its leaves will be very thick and very green. However, it still needs to be slightly shaded during the hot summer noons to prevent it from being exposed to strong sunlight, otherwise its leaf color will turn into light brown, and its appearance will be greatly reduced!

2. Moisture. When the temperature is high in summer, pay attention to ventilation and cooling. There is no need to give too much water. The amount of watering is enough to ensure that it will dry out in a day. Water it once a week. This can prevent it from being too humid and causing the leaves to rot and the roots to be damaged. At the same time, black spots will appear on the leaves, which is very ugly! But when the temperature drops, you should slowly resume watering.

3. Fertilization. Normally, you can spray its leaves with some plant-specific liquid fertilizers, or you can use other specially formulated fertilizers as top dressing, so that its leaves will be more shiny. However, do not apply fertilizer when the temperature is particularly high.

4. Place. The climate in the place where you raise succulent Achyranthes bidentata must be stable, otherwise drastic environmental changes will cause its leaves to shrink, affecting its appearance!
