How to propagate Pothos by cuttings?

How to propagate Pothos by cuttings?

As an ideal indoor plant, Pothos is widely loved for its shiny leaves and rapid growth rate. It not only beautifies the living space, but also has the ability to purify the air, so it has many fans. If you want to grow green ivy, you can start caring for it through simple cuttings. Let’s take a look at how to propagate green radish by cuttings.

1. Branch cuttings

Choose healthy green radish branches and cut them into small sections of 5-8 cm with scissors , making sure to retain aerial roots in each section. Insert the cut branches directly into the soil of the pot, or lay them horizontally on the soil surface. After cuttings, place the flower pot in a cool and ventilated place, water it thoroughly, and wait for it to take root.

2. Leaf cuttings

The leaves of the green radish also have the ability to take roots. Cut branches with 1-2 leaves. Insert the leaves into loose, fertile humus. Homemade humus can be made by mixing leaf mold, pine needles and eggshell fertilizer. After cuttings, spray water in the morning and evening to keep moist and promote rooting.

3. Hydroponic cuttings

Soak the green radish branches in water for 2-3 days and observe the rooting. To speed up rooting, add a rooting agent or aspirin containing salicylic acid to the water. After rooting, transplant the branches into nutrient soil.

In short, there are many ways to propagate Pothos by cuttings. Pothos by cuttings is simple and easy, and can be successfully propagated whether through branches, leaves or hydroponics.
