The difference between Fran flowers and sunflowers

The difference between Fran flowers and sunflowers

one. Subject Affiliation:

Both gerbera and sunflower belong to the Asteraceae family, but gerbera belongs to the genus Gerbera, while sunflower belongs to the genus Helianthus. From this, it can be seen that these two kinds of flowers are different.

two. country of origin:

The frangipani is native to the south and was later introduced to the UK. It is now also grown in my country. The sunflower is native to South America and was introduced to Europe by Spain.

three. Growing environment:

1 For the floribunda, its temperature requirement is slightly higher than that of the sunflower. It needs a temperature of 20 to 25 degrees during the day and maintained at around 16 degrees at night. To make it bloom, the ambient temperature cannot be lower than 15 degrees.

When the temperature is lower than 7 degrees in winter, it will stop growing, and staying in zero-degree conditions for too long may even threaten its life.

2Sunflowers are more casual. As long as the temperature is higher than 10 degrees, they can grow normally and the higher the temperature, the faster they develop.

Four. shape:

1. Français: The diameter of this flower can reach 6 to 10 cm when it blooms. Its receptacle is flat and directly exposed to the outside, with a diameter of 6 to 8 mm. There are two layers of male flowers on the outside. The outer corolla is tongue-shaped, about 2.5 to 3.5 cm long and 2 to 4 mm wide.

2. Sunflower: This flower can be as large as 10 to 30 centimeters in diameter when it blooms, which is very large. Its flower size can be said to be 1 to 5 times that of the frangipani.
