Cultivation methods and precautions of Chinese aloe

Cultivation methods and precautions of Chinese aloe

1. Flower soil

It does not have high requirements for flower soil, you just need to ensure its drainage function and prevent it from becoming hardened. After choosing the flower soil, we can add some ash into it. If we give it flower soil with poor drainage, it will cause problems with its root breathing and most of the roots will be damaged. But we can't give it too much sand, otherwise its water will flow away quickly and it will not grow well.

2. Temperature

It is actually very afraid of cold, so we can't put it in a place below 0℃, otherwise it will get frostbite. It is best to let it grow between fifteen and thirty-five degrees. If it is really necessary, we must keep it above five degrees, because it will not grow at this degree.

In the north we can use greenhouses to solve the problem of its suffering in winter. In addition, from March to October, the temperature mostly remains within its suitable range, which means that it grows particularly fast during this period, so management work must be done properly in this range.

3. Weeding

During its growth period, we need to weed frequently, because this will allow the soil to be aerated and reduce the consumption of nutrients by weeds, so that the conversion of flower fertilizer will be smoother. In this way, its roots will grow faster and its disease resistance will be greatly improved.

4. Watering

It is best to keep the surrounding humidity between 45 and 85, because it needs water but cannot accept too much water. Therefore, if it is humid or rainy due to seasonal reasons, if we add water to it at this time, its leaves will easily shrink, the roots will rot, and then die.

But we still need to water it regularly, especially in the summer we need to add more water, so that its yield will be higher. Generally speaking, we should keep the watering interval at five to ten days.

5. Fertilizer

Because the fertility of its soil will decrease, we need to apply fertilizer moderately. Generally speaking, the amount of fertilizer applied each time should not be too much, and its leaves must not be contaminated. If this happens, its leaves must be cleaned.

6. Picking

Because its leaves are very useful, when picking leaves we should pay attention to those that are more than three years old. At this time, we should start picking from the bottom and be careful not to damage it.
