How to grow azalea

1. Breeding environment:

1. Temperature: The suitable temperature for growing azalea is 12-25℃. The maximum temperature should not exceed 30℃, and the minimum temperature should not be lower than 5℃. Too high or too low temperature will stop the growth of azalea. When the indoor temperature is high in summer, you can place it in a cool place. When the indoor temperature is low in winter, you should increase the indoor temperature appropriately.

2. Watering: The watering intervals for azaleas are different in different periods. Generally, they should be watered once every night during the flowering period; in spring or autumn, they can be watered every 4-5 days.

3. Soil: Azalea is a plant that likes acid, so you can do a simple test when preparing the soil. If the soil you prepare is alkaline, you must replace it with acidic soil.

2. Pest and disease prevention

If you grow azaleas outdoors, you must pay attention to insect pests, which are more serious in the spring. At this time, you can spray some medicine to prevent them. In winter, you must pay attention to keeping warm and cut off the dead ones.
