Breeding methods and precautions of the King of Fortune

Breeding methods and precautions of the King of Fortune

1. Soil

The requirements of the King of Fortune for the soil are very strict. It must use fertile, well-drained acidic soil. Avoid using heavy clay soil and do not use alkaline soil, which is not conducive to its growth.

2. Lighting

In a growing environment with sufficient light, its plant shape will be more compact. If there is insufficient light, its growth will slow down. Therefore, you must ensure sufficient light. You can place it in a cool place, but the light must be appropriate and not too dark, otherwise it will grow very thin and tall, affecting its appearance.

3. Temperature

The growth environment of the King of Fortune should be 20-30℃. The minimum temperature in winter should not be lower than 5℃. The leaves will be frostbitten if the temperature is too low. The high temperature in summer is its peak growth period, so maintenance should be strengthened.

4. Water

Don't water it too much, just make sure it is moist. Generally, water it once every 15-20 days. The amount of watering should be controlled. If the amount of watering is too little, it will stop growing. If the amount of watering is too much, water will accumulate and cause root rot.

5. Notes

1. Repotting is usually done in spring, or when the plant is dormant. When repotting, rotten roots and diseased leaves should be trimmed off. If the plant is not repotted for a long time, its shape may be distorted, seriously affecting its appearance.

2. It likes a growing environment with plenty of sunlight, so its leaves should face the sun, otherwise the branches and leaves will become twisted.
