How to maintain smooth sailing flowers and plants

1. Soil

It likes soil that is rich in humus, loose and permeable. You can choose household soil that is a mixture of garden soil, leaf mold and sand. The flowerpot is determined according to the size of the plant. Generally, a large pot of about 20-40cm is more suitable.

2. Lighting

Proper light must be ensured during the growing period. The growth is more vigorous in spring, so the plant can be placed in well-lit places such as balconies and windows. When it grows to maturity, it can be placed indoors in diffuse light for maintenance.

3. Moisture

It likes shady and moist soil. Keep the soil in the pot moist, but do not allow water to accumulate. If the air is dry, spray water around the plant to increase the humidity of the air.

4. Temperature

It should be kept indoors in winter and the room temperature should be kept above 10℃. The temperature in summer should not be too high, as temperatures above 35°C will affect the normal growth of the plants.

5. Notes

Repot once a year, put base fertilizer at the bottom, and try to repot at the end of winter and before the spring growing season. Young plants should generally be fertilized once every 15 days with diluted cake fertilizer water, while adults only need to be fertilized once a month.
