Do all spider plants bloom?

1. Chlorophytum

It is our most common variety of spider plant. It is very similar to orchids, has thick roots and a high survival rate. It can be planted either hydroponically or in soil. It does not have high requirements for the environment, just a temperature of around 20 degrees and sufficient water. It has yellow or green stripes in the middle, the flowers are white or light yellow, it blooms in May and bears fruit in August.

2. Colorful Chlorophytum

The edges of the leaves of the colorful spider plant are green, and the color of the leaves is yellow-white. Its branches grow one section at a time, with leaves growing in each section. The color of the branches is purple-red, and the leaves grow downward.

3. Chlorophytum comosum

Chlorophytum comosum is widely planted and has a high survival rate. Its leaves are broad linear with golden yellow edges, the flowers are white with bright yellow centers.

4. Silver-edged Chlorophytum

As the name suggests, the edges of the silver-edged spider plant are silver and the flowers are relatively small. Generally, six flowers grow together and look like clusters. The flowering period is from June to August and it has a high ornamental value.

5. Golden Heart Chlorophytum

Golden Heart Chlorophytum has relatively high requirements for its growing environment. It needs a warm, semi-shaded environment. It is not resistant to exposure to the sun or cold, so when cultivating it, it is necessary to ensure a constant temperature, with 20 degrees being the best. It has a yellow vertical stripe down the middle. The flowers are white in color and bloom in late spring and early summer.
