Differences between Rain Tree and Albizia Julibrissin

1. Difference of blades

The rain tree has 3-8 pairs of leaflets, which gradually become smaller from top to bottom, are obliquely oblong, about 2-4 cm long, about 1.1-8 cm wide, have 3-5 pairs of pinnae, about 15 cm long, and the petiole is about 15-40 cm. The Albizia Julibrissin has 10-30 pairs of leaflets, which are linear to oblong, much smaller than the former, with 4-12 pairs of pinnae and a petiole about 3-5 cm long.

2. The difference between flowers

The flowers of the rain tree are capitula, growing in the leaf axils. The flowers are rose red in color, about 5-6 cm in diameter, and the peduncle is about 5-9 cm long. The flowers of the Albizia Julibrissin are capitula, arranged in large cone-shaped inflorescences at the top of the branches. The flowers are pink in color, with slightly short corollas and triangular lobes. The calyx and corolla have short soft hairs.
