1. Differences in leavesThe leaves of white osmanthus are ovate or ovate-oblong, about 5 to 8 cm long and 3 to 4 cm wide. There are small white hairs on both sides of the leaves, which look dense, especially on the back of the leaves and on the veins. There are 6 to 7 pairs of lateral veins on the edges.The leaves of the white-fronted plant are oblong or oblong-lanceolate, rather narrow, about 1 to 5 cm long, about 0.7 to 1.2 cm wide, and the lateral veins on the sides are not very obvious, about 3 to 5 pairs. 2. Differences in flowersThe flowers of white iris are dark purple in color and about 10 mm in diameter. The flowers bloom from April to August, concentrated in the spring and summer seasons.The flowers of Baiqian are yellow in color and bloom from May to November, which is later than the former. |
