The difference between whole leaf Corydalis and Corydalis

1. Difference of blades

The leaves of the whole leaf Corydalis are twice-ternate, the leaflets are lanceolate to obovate, the margins are entire, usually with light white stripes or spots, and the edges have rough papillae or are smooth. The leaves of Corydalis yanhusuo are bi-ternate or nearly tri-ternate, the leaflets are three-lobed or three-deeply lobed, the lobes are lanceolate, entire, and relatively wider than the former, and the lower stem leaves have petioles.

2. The difference between flowers

The whole-leaf Corydalis flower is a raceme with 6-14 flowers. The bracts are lanceolate to oval. The flower color is light blue, purple-red or blue-purple. The outer petals are wide and curved upward in a rectangular cylindrical shape. The bracts of Corydalis yanhusuo are lanceolate or narrowly ovate, the flowers are purple-red, and the petals are similar to the former.
